1. Data Controller & Scope
Asante360 acts as Data Controller under international privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Apple Privacy Guidelines 5.1.1/5.1.2, and Google Play Data Safety Standards). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, protect, and delete your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Credentials: Name, email address, and encrypted authentication tokens.
- User Content & Activity: Custom Kente pattern designs, bookmarked stories, gallery uploads, support ticket inquiries dispatched to support@asante360.org, Oware/Draughts match stats, and cultural quest completion history.
- Technical Telemetry: Device model, OS version, app version, anonymous crash logs, and performance metrics.
3. Device Hardware Permissions
- Camera & Photos: Used ONLY with explicit action to pick a profile avatar or export Kente design graphics to device storage. We never access your photos in the background.
- Biometric Security (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint): Processed 100% locally on-device via Apple/Android Secure Enclave. We NEVER collect, transmit, or store biometric identifiers on any server.
- Notifications: Optional push notifications for royal announcements and cultural events, managed via device settings.
4. Zero Advertising & No Data Sale Guarantee
Zero Ad Tracking: We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal information with third-party ad networks, data brokers, or marketing platforms. Asante360 does not perform cross-app tracking across third-party websites or services (Apple App Tracking Transparency compliant).
5. Data Storage & Infrastructure Security
All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256 in secure, SOC-2 compliant database clusters (Firebase & Google Cloud Infrastructure).
6. Account Deletion & Permanent Erasure Right (Apple & Google Mandate)
In strict compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Account Deletion Policies, you have the full right to delete your account.
- In-App Path: Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account.
- Permanent Erasure: Deleting your account permanently purges all profile credentials, uploaded media, custom designs, and activity logs from our production servers within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy Protection (COPPA & GDPR-K)
Asante360 is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
8. Data Subject Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
You retain full rights to Access, Correct, Export (Data Portability), Restrict, or Object to the processing of your personal data. Contact support@asante360.org (or privacy@asante360.org) to exercise your rights.
